Charlotte ICE gang team honored

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement gang unit in Charlotte received law enforcement’s Special Achievement Award by the North Carolina Gang Investigators Association.

The NCGIA recognized the ICE gang unit, officially called the Operation Community Shield Task Force, for its success in reducing gang activity throughout the state.

Since Oct. 1, 2009, when the Operation Community Shield Task Force was established, the unit has arrested more than 186 gang members, associates, and immigration violators encountered in the company of gang members or in residences of gang members at the time of their arrests.

The Operation Community Shield Task Force has identified numerous transnational gangs, including Malditos and Mara Salvatrucha 13, operating in North Carolina and the surrounding states.

“We are honored to receive this award from NCGIA and will continue to work with our federal, state and local law enforcement partners to disrupt gang activities,” said Delbert Richburg, assistant special agent in charge of ICE’s HSI office in North Carolina.

FRANCO! TELL THE WHOLE STORY! I.C.E. HAS BEEN TOLD IN A MEMO FROM THE "CULTURAL MUSLIM" AND HIS D.O.J. THUGS, TO ONLY ARREST AND DEPORT ILLEGALS IF THEY "HAVE A CRIMINAL RECORD, OR ARE COMMITING A CRIME, OR IN THE COMPANY OF KNOWN GANG MEMBERS"! SOO! ILLEGAL = UNDOCUMENTED = UNAUTHORIZED= AMNESTY! AS THE JOKER SAID,"WE BEEN SOLD OUT BOYS"!

EXACTLY ANON 12:01PM!

Obama is doing EVERYTHING he can to give amnesty to ALL so he can get re-elected in 2012! NO WAY will Obama ever get my vote again! Lie to me once shame on you, lie to me twice SHAME ON HIM!

I understand that anti-immigrant bigots are often fact-averse, but it bears repeating that NO immigration reform proposal includes "amnesty".

Comprehensive immigration reform that includes a path to citizenship involves a process that takes from six-10 years from enrollment to citizenship. Despite the misinformation that has been used to terrorize you into malleability, CIR will not have any effect on the pool of eligible voters in the 2012 elections.

But by all means, continue spouting lies, if that is all you have.

HERE IN ARIZONA THE "CULTURAL MUSLIM COMMUNITY ORGANIZER" WAS ASKED TO SEND 3000 NATIONAL GAURD TO THE SOUTHERN BORDER! WHAT DID THAT MARXIST MISFIT DO? HE SENT 15SIGNS THAT WARN AMERICANS NOT TO TRAVEL IN AN AREA 100 MILES NORTH OF THE BORDER. MEXICAN DRUG & HUMAN SMUGGLERS CONTROL THAT 100 MILE AREA. WE ARE LOSING OUR COUNTRY WHILE THAT MARXIST SUES US ON BEHALF OF THE DRUG CARTELS! OBAMA IS AS UN-AMERICAN AS THE "ILLEGAL TRASH" THAT THREATEN OUR COUNTRY! THIS IS HIS "CHANGE"?

Here is the real truth. Arrest up over 20%, deportations up, prosecution of employers who hire illegal immigrants up. Compare the number now to when th Cowboy from Texas was in office and every statistic is up. The Glenn Beck crown is really out in full force and as wrong as ever. Check it out

The Obama administration said it would focus its enforcement of illegal immigration laws by targeting workplace activities, but a recent report shows that while audits of employers are slightly up over the Bush administration, worker arrests are down drastically since the end of 2008.

Under Obama, employer audits are up 50 percent, fines have tripled to almost $3 million and the number of executives arrested is slightly up over the Bush administration.

But under President Obama, the numbers of arrests and deportations of illegals taken into custody at work sites plummeted by more than 80 percent from the last year of the Bush administration. In the current fiscal year 2010, which ends Sept. 30, ICE has arrested 900 workers.

That compares to immigration agents under Bush raiding hundreds of businesses from factory to farm -- and arresting and deporting more than 6,000 illegal immigrants in raids in 2008 -- more than 5,000 simply for being in the country illegally.

I.C.E. arrested over 500.000 illegals in the last year. They released them on their on recognance. This is what "backdoor amnesty" is all about.
